Nose Games

This is exposure work, and also a foundation into what can be a really fun activity for your puppy, or even a sport if you continue to pursue it!

Research has shows that sniffing is associated with a lower heart rate and a positive emotional effect. In other words, sniffing makes dogs happy!

This week, play with your puppy and let them explore the world with their nose! Put treats in a multitude of different containers, and let your puppy forage them out. Try placing treats in paper towel rolls, old cereal boxes, egg cartons, colanders, and more.
