Collar on Game

Last time you practiced the collar on game, you didn’t actually put the collar around your dog’s neck – you just wanted to get them used to the sensation of your hands/their equipment being near them and getting good reinforcement for it. This week, start slipping the collar over your puppy’s neck while pairing it with good food for a reinforcement. Continue using collars that are too big for them. If your puppy is doing well with this, start holding the collar out for your puppy to target with their head and reinforce for that.
